Life at Tangled Branches
Some families have reunions. We have planting seasons. There's something beautiful about watching three generations work the same project, each bringing their own expertise to the mix. The result? A farm that's equal parts science project, construction site, and garden paradise.
A couple of us are the plant people - out there at sunrise checking on everything from vegetables and flowers, and planning what to try next. Danielle brings her science background (Bachelor of Science and invasive plant research) into the mix!
Others of us are builders. If it needs constructing, digging, or fixing, we're on it. And yes, the little ones think having a farm as their backyard is completely normal.
Our parents grew up on farms, so this venture feels like coming home. Equal parts organized chaos and pure joy, with a healthy dose of "let's plant this and see what happens."
